Former Creative Recreation president and general manager Robert Brack was tapped as K-Swiss brand’s new vice president of sales. Brack’s resume includes previous stints at Donna Karen, Dr. Marten’s, Nordstrom, PONY and Reebok.
VF Corp. named Jim Pisani as Timberland’s new global brand president. Previously, Pisani served as VF Licensed Sports Group President since 2008. He will replace Stewart Whitney who left the company last month. Mike Pardini was also appointed as president of VF Licensed Sports Group, taking on Pisani’s former role. Pardini originally joined VF in 2010 as the sales director of Harley-Davidson, before serving as the VP of sales for VF Licensed Sports Group.
Kip Fulks was hired as Under Armour’s new chief product officer, where he will oversee the integration of category management, marketing, product and sourcing for global athletes. Former VP and managing director of VF Corp. Colin Browne was named as Under Armour’s president of global sourcing, effective Sept.6. Under Armour also tapped former Amazon head of worldwide brand marketing Andy Donkin as its new chief marketing officer. Donkin will assume his new position at the end of August.
Target hired Preston Mosier as its new SVP of fulfillment operations, starting Aug. 14. Mosier joins Target after serving in various leadership positions at Amazon over the past decade. In his new role, Mosier will manage Target’s direct-to-consumer fulfillment centers and other supply chain operations.
Certona CEO Meyar Sheik was appointed to Shop.org’s board of directors. This is the second NRF appointment for Sheik, having last year been named a member of the NRF Digital Council, a group of senior digital industry experts that developed new initiatives for NRF and retail industry technology.
Lululemon board member Rhoda Pitcher resigned from her position after media outlets questioned her professional experience. Fortune confirmed that Pitcher was a legitimate member of the company’s board since 2005, despite ongoing speculations.
Brian Goldner was appointed to Gap’s board of directors. Goldner currently serves as Hasbro’s chairman, president and CEO as well as on the company’s board of directors. After starting at Hasbro in 2000 and taking on the role of CEO in 2008, Goldner has been responsible for the company’s global rebranding and successful digital strategy.
Matt Kaden was hired as MMG Advisors’ new managing director. Kaden has many years of experience in retail industry strategic advisory expertise. Prior to his new role, Kaden co-founded his own firm, Matter Strategic Advisors, and his resume includes stints at Macy’s and Kellwood Company’s Lifestyle Alliance.
