Kaltex America named David Cunningham as its new CMO. Cunningham joins Kaltex America from Jade Marketing Group, where he served as the company’s CEO. In his new role, Cunningham will manage the development of the company’s internal and private label brands. His resume also includes previous stints at Calvin Klein Jeans, Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
Jonathan Wall, Shop Direct’s e-commerce director, is resigning from his post. Before his seven-year tenure at Shop Direct, Wall served as chief executive of Flowersdirect.co.uk. His resignation follows the announced departure of another company executive, Very Exclusive managing director Sarah Curran, who will leave at the end of this month.
VF Corp. chairman Eric C. Wiseman is retiring from the company, effective Oct. 28. Wiseman began his career at VF Corp. in 1995 and has held various leadership roles, including EVP of JanSport, chairman of VF’s Sportswear and Outdoor coalitions, EVP of global brands and CEO. As part of VF Corp.’s succession plan, the Board elected CEO, president and director Steven E. Rendle to take over for Wiseman.
Haney tapped former The RealReal executive Jennifer Oh as it’s new president. In her new role, Oh will be responsible for the brand’s global expansion and expanding its online direct-to-consumer channel. Her resume includes previous stints at Armani Group and Cole Haan.
J.C. Penney elected Jeffrey Davis as its new CFO and EVP. In his new role, Davis will oversee all of the company’s financial operations. Davis joins J.C. Penney from Darden Restaurants, where he served as the company’s CFO. He will succeed interim CFO Andrew Drexler.
Farfetch appointed 1stdibs CEO David Rosenblatt as a non-executive board member. In his new role, Rosenblatt will oversee the company’s strategy and support its growth. Rosenblatt previously served as the CEO of DoubleClick. He is also a board member of the IAC, Narrative Science and Twitter.
StitchFix chief operating officer Julie Bornstein is exiting the company. The details of her departure have not been shared by StitchFix, who could be expecting its S-1 filing in a few weeks as it looks to go public. Stitch Fix has not determined a successor yet.
Underwear startup Thinx has appointed Maria Molland Selby as its new CEO, effective July 31. In her role, Selby will work to build the company’s global presence and drive its omnichannel strategy. Selby has more than 21 years of business development experience and has held leadership roles with Fab.com, Yahoo! and Walt Disney Internet Group.
