Shuffle Board: Six Hires Announced at Ralph Lauren This Week and Eight Other Major Moves

Sock & Accessory Brands Global

Sock & Accessory Brands Global appointed Cindy Dickson as its new senior vice president of creative and design. She has more than 20 years of experience in the hosiery and legwear industries, including previous stints at Renfro Corporation, Ellis Hoisery/International Legwear Group and Uni Hoisery Company.


Mary Meixelsperger, DSW’s former SVP and chief financial officer, recently resigned from her position. She will be succeeded by Jared Poff, another executive at the company who previously served as DSW’s vice president of finance, business development and treasurer.


Andrea Shaw Resnick, global head of investor relations and corporate communications at Coach, will serve as interim CFO from August until a permanent successor to Jane Nielsen is found.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren recently hired six new leadership team members: Coach CFO Jane Nielsen will be the company’s new finance chief; Bill Campbell was hired as corporate SVP of global supply chain and inventory management; Jeffrey Kuster was appointed as group president for the Americas; Halide Alagoz will be the new head of global sourcing; Fredrik Hjalmers will be the new head of global expansion; and Marcelle Parrish will be the new head of e-commerce North America.

Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts Stores

Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts Stores promoted Chris DiTullio to SVP, marketing and omnichannel. DiTullio has worked at Jo-Ann for 11 years and previously served as interim SVP of marketing, VP of e-commerce and omnichannel, VP of marketing and advertising, VP of inventory management and merchandise planning director.

JustFab Inc.

Former chief operating officer and CFO at Rubicon Project, Todd Tappin, was hired as JustFab Inc.’s new president and CFO. His resume includes leadership roles at Overture, the Gores Group and 20th Century Fox.


Uniqlo appointed Christophe Lemaire as artistic director of its Parisian R&D Center and the company’s new Uniqlo U line, set to launch in Fall/Winter 2016. Lemaire previously held leadership positions at Lacoste and Hermes.

Applied DNA Sciences

Barbara Brockway was hired as the new director of personal care at Applied DNA Sciences. Brockway was previously a scientific adviser in personal care at IMCD UK Ltd. in Sutton, England.


Burberry COO John Smith is leaving his position to pursue other career interests. At the moment, the company has not yet found a replacement.
