Kenzo
Kenzo CEO Eric Marechalle is leaving his post to helm another LVMH fashion label. Starting this fall, Marechalle will become the new CEO of Marc Jacobs International. In his new role, Marechalle will oversee the label’s turnaround initiatives. He will succeed Marc Jacobs International CEO Sebastian Suhl, who is departing from LVMH to pursue other interests. LVMH also confirmed that Marchalle’s successor will be announced in short order.
Topshop
Burberry chief merchandising officer Paul Price was tapped to be Topshop’s new CEO, effective Sept. 4. In his new role, Price will helm Topshop’s overseas expansion efforts. He will succeed former Topshop CEO Mary Homer, who left the brand to join The White Company.
Canada Goose
Retail veteran Maureen Chiquet was elected to Canada Goose’s board of directors. Chiquet will serve as an independent director and help build Canada Goose’s business, product and marketing strategies. With more than 30 years of retail experience, Chiquet recently served as Chanel’s first global CEO, where she managed the label’s worldwide expansion for almost a decade. Her resume also includes previous stints at Gap and L’Oreal Paris.
Macy’s
Macy’s appointed Michelle Israel as its new SVP of off-price divisions. In her new role, Israel will be responsible for Macy’s Backstage and Bloomingdales’ The Outlet. Her predecessor, interim off-price SVP Tim Baxter, exited the company in May.
NRF
NRF elected new board members this week.
Macy’s executive chairman Terry Lundgren will be the new chairman of NRF’s board of directors. He succeeds former HSNi CEO Mindy Grossman, who resigned from her post after leaving to take on another role at Weight Watchers.
Four new board members were also elected, including Sam’s Club CEO and president John Furner, QVC Inc. CEO and president Mike George, Total Wine and More CEO Adam Orvos and Petco CEO Brad Weston.

Arcadia Group
West Ham United chief executive Karren Brady was appointed as the new head of Taveta. After nearly 15 years of service, her predecessor, former Taveta head Anthony Grabiner, is stepping down from his post. Brady will also serve as a non-executive chairman on Taveta’s board of directors. Her appointment is timely with Arcadia Group’s turnaround efforts, as the company seeks to rebuild its financial outlook from last year.
Amazon
Amazon Alexa and Echo head Mike George is retiring this year. George oversaw Amazon’s app store, which will now be managed by SVP of Amazon’s Devices & Services organization Dave Limp. SVP of Amazon Payments and Fulfillment By Amazon businesses Tom Taylor will allegedly take over for George.
The Buckle, Inc.
The Buckle, Inc.’s board of directors elected Thomas B. Heacock as the VP of finance, treasurer and CFO. Heacock previously served as the company’s VP of finance, treasurer and corporate controller. Before joining The Buckle in 2003, he was employed by Ernst & Young, LLP. His predecessor, former CFO Karen B. Rhoads, will be retiring from the company.
Nike
Monique Matheson was appointed as Nike’s new EVP of human resources. As a 19-year veteran of Nike, Matheson recently served as the company’s VP, chief talent and diversity officer, where she managed the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. She will succeed David Ayre, who is retiring after leading the company’s human resources operations for more than 10 years.
Courrèges
Courrèges creative directors Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant are leaving the label. Both designers showed their last collection for Autumn/Winter 2017 and a statement by Courrèges confirmed that the decision was mutual. A successor has not been determined by Courrèges yet.
Thomas Maier
Head of Kering Americas Laurent Claquin will helm another fashion label. In addition to her current responsibilities, Claquin will become the chief executive of Thomas Maier. She will succeed Giuseppe Giovannetti, who left the company last week.
LVMH
Former Luxottica head of retail Nicola Brandolese was tapped as a new LVMH executive. Brandolese, who joined LVMH in June, is spending an initial period at Fendi before transitioning to an undisclosed chief executive role in early 2018.
M&S
M&S named Gordon Mowat as its new clothing and home supply chain director. Mowat joins M&S from Morrisons, where he recently served as the company’s group property director.
Pringle of Scotland
Massimo Nicosia, Pringle of Scotland’s menswear design director, is leaving the company. Nicosia showed his last collection for Spring 2018. Fran Stringer will remain as the company’s womenswear designer, while Nicosia’s team will take over responsibilities for the label’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection.
Caleres
Caleres appointed Malcom Robinson as the president of its newly created men’s and international division. In his new role, Robinson will manage the growth initiatives of Caleres men’s brands and expand the company’s global footprint. Robinson recently served as EVP of One Jeanswear Group for the William Rast division.
