Shuffle Board: QVC Shakes Up Executive Fleet, Kate Spade CCO Rumored to Exit

Jack Wills

Derek Lovelock, chairman of Jack Wills, is leaving his post at the end of the year to pursue other career interests. Lovelock, who also serves as the chairman of Joe Brown, was appointed as chairman at Jack Wills in 2016 to assist the fashion retailer following a major transaction. Last September, Union Lifestyle Limited acquired 100 percent of the Jack Will Group’s share capital and Lovelock, along with Peter Williams, Jack Wills’ founder, chief executive and co-shareholder, managed the company’s new business initiatives. He will be succeeded by Rothschilds vice chairman, Richard Wyatt, who will take over as non-executive chairman of Jack Wills.

Kate Spade

A Kate Spade & Co. executive may be resigning from her post.

Sources told WWD that Deborah Lloyd, chief creative officer of Kate Spade & Co., is allegedly planning to leave the company—and Kate Spade isn’t providing comment on the rumored move. The company hired Lloyd in 2008, and before her tenure at Kate Spade, she held other leadership roles at Banana Republic and Burberry London. Lloyd ‘s speculated leave is timely with the departure of another executive—Kate Spade CEO Craig Leavitt—who left the company in August. Coach Inc., which acquired Kate Spade in May, is currently searching for Leavitt’s successor.

Amazon

Karen Peacock, Amazon’s design director, is resigning from the company to take up a similar role at U.K.-based retailer Warehouse, at the end of the month. Before her tenure at Amazon, Peacock served as the womenswear design director at Debenhams from 2002 to 2012. She will succeed former Warehouse designer director Emma Cook.
