Shuffle Board: Retailers Shook Up Executive Teams This Week

Abercrombie & Fitch named Joanne Crevoiserat as its new interim principal executive officer. Crevoiserat’s resume includes previous leadership positions at Filene’s, Kohl’s and Walmart. She will succeed former PEO Jonathan Ramsden.


Macy’s current chief executive Terry Lundgren is resigning. He will remain an executive chairman on the company’s board. President Jeff Gennette will transition into Lundgren’s position as the new CEO, effective the first quarter of 2017.

Lands’ End

Lands’ End promoted Becky Gebhardt to EVP and CMO. Gebhardt previously served as the company’s SVP and COO since May 2014. Mike Zhang was appointed as Lands’ End’s new VP, E-commerce, digital marketing and innovation. Mike Holahan was also promoted to SVP, multi-channel marketing. He previously served as a Lands’ End’s VP of multi-channel marketing since 2008.


Jennifer Davies was hired as Next’s new buying manager for tops. A company veteran, she previously held the positions of global sales manager, product manager and womenswear senior buyer.


Belk filled the position of executive vice president and chief stores officer with former Victoria’s Secret EVP of store operations Randy Whitaker. Former MasterCard chief human resources officer Ron Garrow was also named as the retailer’s EVP and chief people officer. Both will move to their new positions in late June and mid-July.


Chief marketing and communications officer Celine Choussy Bedouet was appointed to Lectra’s executive committee. Bedouet has worked at Lectra since 2013. Her resume includes previous stints at Dassault Systemes and Autodesk.
