Shuffle Board: Target Nabs Supply Chain Exec from Walmart, Bluesign Names New CEO


Barneys promoted Josh Lieberman to executive vice president of digital. In his new role, Lieberman will manage operations for and He joined Barneys in 2012 and recently served as the company’s senior vice president of digital marketing.

Bluesign Technologies

Jill Dumain was hired as Blusign’s new chief executive officer, effective January 2017. With more than 25 years of experience in textile research and development, Dumain joins Bluesign from Patagonia, where she served as the retailer’s director of environmental strategy. She will succeed Peter Waeber, who is retiring at the end of the year.


Timberland appointed Bob Sineni as the vice president and general manager of Timberland Pro. In his new role, Sineni will oversee all aspect of the Timberland Pro business, including marketing, product, strategy and sales. He joins Timberland Pro from Majestic Athletic, where he served as the strategic channel director since 2011. His resume also includes stints at FedEx Worldwide and Airborne Express.

New York & Company

Michelle Pearlman was named as New York & Company’s EVP of e-commerce and chief marketing officer. Pearlman will manage the company’s e-commerce business and omnichannel marketing strategy. With over 20 years of experience in retail, she has held various leadership positions at other brands, including Ann Taylor and Sears.


Target hired Shekar Natarajan as SVP of network planning and operational design. In his new role, Natarajan will oversee the company’s direct-to-store and direct-to-guest supply chain network. Natarajan joins Target from Walmart, where he served as the VP of last mile operation, emerging sciences and operational excellence. As a distribution veteran with over 15 years of experience, Natarajan’s resume includes previous leadership positions at Anheuser Busch, PepsiCo and the Walt Disney Company.

Stitch Fix appointed Scott Darling as its chief legal officer. As a corporate legal veteran, Darling joins Stitch Fix from Trulia, where he served as the General Counsel and advised the company’s $2.5 billion sale to Zillow.


Terry Davenport was named to the Board of Directors at Express. Davenport will serve as a class III director on the board. He currently serves as the global brand advisor for Starbucks Coffee Company and has held previous leadership positions at Omnicom Agencies, PepsiCo and Yum! Brands.
