Yunique Solutions, creators of the YuniquePLM product management software, has unleashed a new photo sharing mobile app. Known for making software specifically designed for the apparel retail industry to track production, they service clients like Fruit of the Loom and Aeropostale.
The app, called “YuSnap,” will enable teams within companies to share photos of products at every stage of production, from initial design to retail rack. Designers might share photo inspirations with one another, while merchandisers and sales teams will be able to easily describe developed products.
YuSnap, which is only compatible with the most recent version of YuniqePLM software (version 5.0, which was released this May) gives users secure access to all “digital assets,” and features a camera, filtered search capabilities, and metadata organization. Currently, the app is only available for iPhone users.
The VP of product management at Yunique Solutions, Darioush Nikpour, told press that Yunique “constantly strive[s] to empower our users with easy to use, intuitive solutions.” Nikpour said that YuSnap is only the first installment in what will eventually be the Yunique Mobile Suite.
