Influencers Were Really Good at Pushing These Products Last Year

Spanx, Abercrombie, Adidas and On make some of the most in-demand products influencers pushed on a top shopping platform last year.

LTK’s Most Loved Awards show which fashion, beauty, fitness and home products most resonated with shoppers in 2022. Formerly known as LiketoKnow, the platform runs a mobile app where much of its traffic comes through product-pushing platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

For the first time, LTK also called out the Most Loved Shopper Favorites, highlighting the top brands and items being bought by 18 million monthly consumers on the platform, from Lululemon’s popular belt bag to the Stanley tumbler, high-waisted jeans, lounge sets, running shoes, blankets and face masks.

LTK’s proprietary benchmarking algorithm uses data on engagement, impressions, clicked links, items sold and total sales to evaluate millions of products shared by influencers and tastemakers. “These are the most shopped, talked about, gifted, and worn products by leading trendsetters,” LTK said. “With over $3.6 billion purchased from LTK Creators in 2022, creators are helping shoppers make purchasing decisions across every category.”

Aerie’s Smoothez padded scoop bralette was a fashion standout, along with Spanx faux leather leggings, Amazon’s Lveberw Lounge Set, Abercrombie & Fitch mom shorts, a metallic button blazer from Walmart brand Attitude Unknown, Madewell’s washed leather motorcycle jacket and Steve Madden’s Eldridge coat from Revolve. The popularity of high-waisted straight ankle jeans from Express suggests the mall retailer’s denim revamp is paying off while Agolde The ‘90s pinch waist jeans’ inclusion on the list indicates that the decade’s influence on fashion has staying power.

On the health and fitness front, Vuori’s Cozy Sherpa jacket, Adidas Retrorun sneakers from DSW and an exercise dress from Outdoor Voices were named as shopper favorites. On Running Cloudswift sneakers from Nordstrom, another standout, shows how the department store’s effort to amplify new brands is bearing fruit.
