B.U.M. Equipment To Relaunch Apparel Collection For Fall/Holiday 2016

B.U.M. Equipment is making a comeback.

The ‘90s and early ‘00s brand is launching a new collection for Fall/Holiday 2016 to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Under the guidance of B.U.M. Equipment CEO Stephen Wayne, the unisex line will feature four pieces, each incorporating the brand’s retro, vintage, authentic and fashionable Young Men’s roots.

“The launch of this collection is perfectly timed for consumers hungry for a retro brand that embodies laid-back casual California Lifestyle and so far celebrities showing off their favorite Bums have already proven that to us,” said Wayne.

When the company was planning its relaunch last year, paparazzi captured Rihanna leaving a recording session with Drake. The music artist was captured wearing a vintage B.U.M. Equipment sweatshirt. According to Wayne, “It was as if the light went on. I started to get calls from dozens of interested parties.”

Wayne first signed a deal with Foundry Brands, to manage B.U.M. Equipment’s presence in the U.K. Ashton Kutcher’s new comedy series “The Ranch” also selected Bum Vintage products for its wardrobe. Then, Urban Outfitters expressed interest in launching a collaborative collection with B.U.M. Equipment.

Today, B.U.M. Equipment is working on its Baby B.U.M. infant products for the fall, in addition to its new 30th anniversary collection. The company recently produced a new advertising campaign for the Fall launch, which will debut at July’s MLB All Star Game.
