Betsey Johnson is bringing baby clothes to Babies ‘R’ Us for autumn/winter 2016.
The designer launched an exclusive apparel collection with the baby goods retailer this month for fashionable munchkins. Adorned with Betsey-inspired elements, like faux leather vests, leopard print, bows and roses.
“I am thrilled to partner with Babies ‘R’ Us on launching my first baby collection! I can’t wait to see my designs on little kiddos everywhere,” Johnson said in a statement.
Known for her eclectic yet feminine designs, Betsey Johnson started her fashion label in 1978 and she received many honors throughout the years, including the 2015 CFDA Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. Today, her apparel, accessories, intimates, jewelry and shoes are sold at more than 2,000 specialty boutiques and several markets globally.
This collection is particularly special because it encourages little ones (and their moms) to embrace style and individuality, despite changing times in the fashion sector. The apparel collection features 12 sets in sizes 3 months to 5T. Prices range from $25 to $50.
