Kohl’s Partners with Shay Mitchell to Launch Girls Althleisure Line

Kohl’s announced Monday the launch of its new athleisure apparel capsule collection created in partnership with actress and fitness enthusiast, Shay Mitchell.

The department store giant says the new line for girls and young women celebrates “taking life by the bootstraps, getting lost with every adventure and challenging yourself to step outside your comfort zone.”

“The Fit to Wander line speaks to my personal philosophy of embracing all that life has to offer and being the best you can be, whatever your passions,” Mitchell said. “I’m thrilled to share that philosophy with Kohl’s customers looking for apparel that fits their lifestyle.”

The collection, priced from $24 to $48, includes sports bras, graphic tees, fashion tanks and leggings, and each garment comes with positive affirmations and quotes printed inside to inspire wearers.

Leggings in the line include an adjustable waistband that can be worn as high or low-rise with strategic seams and panels. Sports bras come complete with extended bust bands to reduce garment shifting and chafing during exercise, racerback straps and armholes designed to offer the ideal amount of coverage.

All leggings and sports bras are made with the Fit to Wander signature fabric, named Wandertech, which is a poly/spandex blend that offers sweat wicking and 4-way stretch. The other fabrics used in the brand, like baby French terry and cotton/rayon, provide ultra-comfort, drape and softness, according to the company.

“The Fit to Wander collection embodies Shay’s adventurous spirit and fashion savvy,” Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief merchandising and customer officer, said. “With Shay’s help, we are proud to introduce this inspirational and affordable collection and make it easy for Kohl’s customers to create a versatile, sporty look that’s all their own.”

The Fit to Wander Collection is now available at select Kohl’s stores and on Kohl’s.com.
