Macy’s is having a fashion week event to celebrate runway culture, music and industry philanthropy.
The retailer announced Thursday that it is hosting its sophomore “Fashion’s Front Row” on Sept. 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, to kick off fashion week and make high-fashion runway accessible to all.
The show will benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation (CFDA) and Ronald McDonald House New York, to support future education and outreach in New York City’s community.
The runway will feature many fall collections, including a DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls line by Betsey Johnson and other presentations from Calvin Klein, I.N.C. International Concepts, Rachel Rachel Roy, Tallia, Tommy Hilfiger and William Rast. Ariana Grande and Flo Rida will also perform at the benefit event.
“Macy’s Presents Fashion’s Front Row will once again ignite the catwalk, giving fans the opportunity to experience Fashion Week like never before. With a high-fashion runway presentation of the fall season’s most coveted designs and marvelous music and dance performances, the elusive front row will be open for all to enjoy,” the event’s executive producer, Joseph Feczko, said.
