MAGIC, a division of Advanstar, can add childrenswear to its portfolio of specialties. The trade show operator will launch Playground, a new show dedicated exclusively to the better contemporary children’s brand market, in February at the MAGIC marketplace in Las Vegas.
About 100 brands have signed on for the inaugural show. Retailers and vendors within the childrenswear industry handpicked the juried selection of boys’ and girls’ brands for infants to tweens, including Splendid, Appaman, Chaser, Urban Sunday and more. However, brands that mirror the adult market with forward-thinking designs and of-the-moment trends can still apply to exhibit.
Playground will be located inside the WWDMAGIC show housed at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall.
