On Tuesday, the fashion forecaster announced a new strategic partnership with Archroma, an international leader in color and specialty chemicals. The partnership will combine MintModa’s narrative-driven color forecasts with Archroma’s color expertise, providing the industry with authoritative and trend-focused color analysis.
Introduced last year, Color Atlas by Archroma offers 4,320 new shades and a time-efficient color management system for design-related fields. MintModa’s ColoRevolution, a cloud-based subscription trend service, also provides highly-curated color direction and insights. Color remains a key influencer in the fashion sphere, since many consumers rely on color palettes to ramp up their wardrobes. What’s more, social media platforms act as a business opportunity for industry members, enabling consumers to discover new hues every season with their fashion offerings.
“People today are constantly exposed to a barrage of vibrant media on multiple devices. The emotional draw of color, hardwired into humans, becomes an ever-more powerful marketing tool,” MintModa founder and creative director Sharon Graubard said. “We were looking for a truly advanced color service that would offer the widest possible range of color so that we could capture those nuances in our trend forecasts, and Archroma is that.”
Both companies will be present at Première Vision NY, which is taking place at Pier 94 in New York City from July 18-19.
