MyTheresa Founders to Launch Luxury Footwear E-Commerce Site

Susanne and Christoph Botschen, founders of the luxury e-commerce site, are expanding their highly personalized retail aesthetic to the footwear sector.

On Friday, the Botschens said they’ll launch, a curated e-commerce platform for luxury footwear, in March.

“ inspires customers worldwide with an individually curated product range, creating a holistic online footwear universe. An eclectic mix of luxury high-end fashion and shoe brands, alongside new talents and online exclusives come together under one roof,” the company said in its mission statement. “The standout selection is exhibited with a firm focus on shoe expertise and a service-orientated shopping experience.” was developed to address a gap in the luxury footwear sector. Following the sale of MyTheresa to the Neiman Marcus Group, Christoph and Susanne Botschen traveled around the world—and during that time, they realized that consumers did not have a one-stop online shop for their luxury footwear needs.

To remedy this, they set out to create—where consumers can find their favorite luxury footwear brands on one digital platform, without the need to switch between multiple retailers. The name stems from both founders’ retail approach—to provide footwear that reflects the many facets of women and their wardrobes. aims to provide consumers with a tailored and seamless online purchasing journey. On the site, consumers will find a product range that includes footwear from Gucci, Prada and Saint Laurent, alongside popular contemporary brands like Aeyde and Brother Vellies. Martha Louisa also plans on collaborating with footwear sector leaders, so consumers can have access to one-of-a-kind shoes for their individual styling needs.

Complementing the site’s product offering is an artistic aesthetic, including product imagery that features models styled and photographed in various poses to highlight various styles.
