Noble Biomaterials is teaming up with Anta Sports on the latest anti-odor technology.
The antimicrobial solutions provider is collaborating with one of China’s popular activewear brands to bring Noble’s XT2 odor-fighting technology to Anta’s athletic apparel and footwear products for the Anta, Anta Kids, Descente and Fila brands.
“As the number one local Chinese sporting goods brand, Anta emphasizes establishing high-level partnerships with advanced material technology makers like Noble,” said Anta innovation director, Roger Wang, CText FTI PhD. “We strongly believe the strategic agreement for the use of XT2 will greatly benefit Anta and Noble and leverage our mutual effort behind technology innovation as well as brand marketing.”
Both companies created new XT2 technology fabrics that combat odor in fitness garments and shoes. The collaborative product line will launch this fall and will be sold at more than 7,500 Anta locations in China.
XT2 removes odor by inhibiting bacteria growth on fabrics, while keeping garments fresh for extended periods of time. The technology as an inherent yarn is completely dyeable and won’t harm garment performance. It is also Bluesign approved for its sustainable presence in the activewear industry.
“Anta and Noble share the common vision of helping empower people to perform at their best,” Noble Biomaterials CEO Jeff Keane, said. “We are thrilled with the Anta partnership and look forward to working together to develop performance products that allow people to reach their potential.”
