Pantone’s paint box is looking a lot more colorful: The design consulting company has dug deep and added 210 shades to its library, bringing its total number of hues for fashion, home and interiors to 2,310.

“With color stories in the market constantly shifting and redefining themselves, our collection of 210 new shades gives you a greater range of creative expression and ensures that your color palettes are fresh, modern and relevant,” the company said in a statement on its website.

The new palette launched Monday at the Magic trade show in Las Vegas and incorporates a broad range of blues (spanning icy shades to deep navies), a grove of orange hues (from tawny skin tones to juicy mangoes) and earthy tints of taupe and moss.

The Carlstadt, NJ-based color consultant, which last increased its kaleidoscope three years ago, described the new colors as “focused on areas of significant market importance.”
