Due to overwhelming customer demand, Fast Retailing Co.-owned Uniqlo announced Wednesday that it will reissue a collection of “Greatest Hits” from its highly-touted +J collection, the company’s defunct collaboration with German minimalist designer Jil Sander.
The curated styles, including button-down shirts, wool sweaters, cardigans and outerwear for men and women, will debut at the new Uniqlo store in Philadelphia on Oct. 3. The line will be made available in 15 additional markets and on Uniqlo’s website starting Oct. 10 and will retail between $39.90-$229.90.
Sander, who began working with Uniqlo on the collaborated styles in 2009, is not involved in the relaunch. The partnership ended after the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. It remains unclear if Uniqlo will extend the relaunch into additional seasons.
