Bali Takes Innovative Intimates to New Performance Heights

Bali’s latest line of performance intimates promises to eliminate the two major ills in women’s underwear: lines and comfort.

The intimate bra brand that’s part of the Hanesbrands family, has extended its Comfort Revolution EasyLite line beyond bras to include panties and shapewear designed with Hanesbrands’ SmoothTec fabric technology. The ultra-thin fabric, according to Bali, makes the undergarments nearly invisible under clothing and delivers “360-degree stretch and recovery that allow garments to flex to fit women’s unique bodies, maintain their shape and eliminate ride-up. Cool Comfort technology in the collection also means the intimates will wick moisture for added comfort.

Bali’s EasyLite collection caters to the specific needs of all women with innovative, feminine designs that are functional and affordable while addressing two of the top undergarment complaints: lines and comfort,” said Maria Teza, Bali intimate apparel vice president and general manager.

The rollout comes on the heels of Bali’s EasyLite wirefree bra, which became one of the brand’s top 10 best sellers in its first six month, and additional growth is expected in the new year as new colors of the hardware-free bra make it to market.

“The launch of our EasyLite bra has been one of the most successful to date and by adding panties and shapewear, we are providing women with total comfort for their every need,” Teza said. “And we’re delivering on our company’s Innovate to Elevate strategy for growth.”

The Hanesbrands strategy, the company explained in a statement, focuses on tapping into the capabilities of its large-scale global supply chain to offer “enhanced products at an accessible price for large numbers of consumers.”

Bali’s EasyLite panties will come in hi-cut and brief styles in sizes up to 2XL and retail for $13 a pair, available in Kohl’s, Macy’s, J.C. Penney and Amazon. In keeping with the inclusivity aim, colors will come in the brand’s TruShade palette, which Bali says “delivers an inclusive range of shades to complement women of varying skin tones.” The cami will come in nude, black, sandshell and white, and retail in the same locations for $44.
