Bulwark continues to make its mark in the fire resistant apparel sector.
The company announced the launch of the next generation of its revolutionary iQ Series, The Bulwark iQ Series Endurance Collection.
This new fire resistant clothing line contains a 65 percent cotton/35 percent polyester blend fabric, created in collaboration with Westex G2 fabrics by Milliken. With this material combination, Endurance Collection clothing will have superior abrasion resistance, improved after-wear appearance, breathability and durability.
“The iQ Endurance Series is a direct response to our customers’ call for an extra resilient, yet lightweight, soft and breathable line of stylish work wear,” Bulwark managing director Robert Grimes, said. “No other FR brand has checked every box like this before.”
A work shirt and overall from the Endurance Collection will debut at the ASSE Safety Professional Development Conference and Exposition in Atlanta taking place this week.
The iQ Series Endurance Work Shirt is CAT 2 and NFPA 2112 compliant and contains 7.0 ounces of ripstop twill, along with the special cotton/polyester hybrid fabric that is flame resistant. For durability, the shirt features ripstop fabric, triple needle seams and reinforced pockets.
Other functional features include full underarm gussets for improved fit, back pleats for comfortable movement and a gas monitor pocket at the front shoulder. The shirt is available in four colors khaki, grey, navy and light blue.
The line’s coverall is NFPA 2112 compliant, has 7.0 ounces of ripstop twill and also contains the flame resistant cotton/polyester blend fabric. Ripstop fabric, triple needle seams and reinforced pockets are also available for added durability. The coverall also has more functional features, including wider ergonomic chest pockets with concealed snaps, a napoleon pocket and a cellphone pocket inside the pocket bag. Three colors are available in the coverall, including grey, khaki and navy.
