San Francisco-based athletic apparel brand Myles has released its new “Momentum Tee,” which carries the tagline, “The world’s most comfortable workout tee is back and better than ever.”
Myles has collaborated with fabric developer Polartec to create the new and improved version using Polartec’s Power Dry moisture management technology. The T-shirt combines technical performance with casual styling and comfort, bridging the gap between a typical workout top and the everyday cotton tee, the companies said.
They noted that historically, performance fabrics have looked and felt technical. But this next-generation T-shirt has the aesthetic and hand feel of cotton, and thanks to its brushed matte finish and overdyed heather appearance, it has a more sleek and stylish appearance than traditional athletic shirting.
At its core is Polartec’s proprietary Power Dry construction that employs a bi-component knit providing mechanical wicking action and high breathability for fast-drying performance that lasts the lifetime of the garment.
The Polartec Power Dry technology pulls moisture away from the body and transfers it to the outer surface for rapid evaporation during activity, so the garment maintains a dry feel even during the toughest workouts. It’s treated with Polygiene to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
The product is made in the U.S., cut and sewn down the road from Myles headquarters. Myles said the Momentum Tee is designed “for a modern active lifestyle,” with a refined fit and raglan sleeves with flatlock seams for greater range of motion, a shaped hem, and a minimalistic tonal reflective logo.
Priced at $48, the Momentum tee is available in six colors and is available online. Myles was started by a group of friends who had a dream of creating the “perfect athletic short,” versatile and stylish enough for workouts, the outdoors and around town, and has grown into a full line of activewear.
