Eloquii, Opening Atlanta Store, Taps Wisdom of the Crowd for New ‘Weekender’ Plus-Size Collection

Walmart-owned size-inclusive brand Eloquii is taking on fall with a new style campaign—and a new store.

The brand, which caters to women sizes 14-28, announced on Thursday the release of its latest collaborative collection, dubbed The Weekender by Refinery29 x Eloquii. Developed with women’s media company Refinery29, the two companies relied on crowd-sourced insights from a national survey of women size 12 and up in developing the line.

The 27-piece collection features weekend-ready casual staples like jackets, dresses, tees, blouses, denim and skirts—all priced between $49.95-129.95. In a release, Eloquii highlighted standout styles like a cropped moto jacket, a “mom jean,” a cowl-neck slip dress, and a snake-printed mini skirt. The Weekender line is available for purchase through Eloquii’s website and stores, as well as through the company’s wholesale partners like Nordstrom.com, Stitch Fix, Gwynnie Bee and Refinery29.

In addition to the national survey, Eloquii and Refinery29 gleaned inspiration from the media company’s highly engaged community members. The two brands selected 29 ambassadors who provided input throughout the design process, from concept exploration through the selection of the final line. Five of the chosen ambassadors were featured in the lookbook for The Weekender collection.

“Partnering with Refinery29 to design a new collection that was not just made for her but inspired by her has been a highlight of my time here,” Yesenia Torres, design director at Eloquii, said. “Together we gained insight from the community to identify a pain point in their wardrobe and offer a solution in the form of a chic, versatile collection that will cater to whatever the weekend throws her way.”

This week, Eloquii also announced the November opening of its new Atlanta location at the Lenox Square shopping center, after recently announcing the opening of its storefront at the King of Prussia Mall, which will take place later this fall.
