Sears Executive Vice President Resigns

Join Sourcing Journal on March 13th HKT for Sourcing Summit Hong Kong for discussions on mending relationships between supply chain partners, remaking factories for smaller MOQs and faster turns, and creating resilience to survive the next inevitable crisis.

Imran Jooma, Sears Holdings Corp. executive president and president of online, marketing, pricing and financial services, is stepping down.

Jooma, who resigned on Dec. 17, will assist with the transition until Feb. 6. Sears has not named a successor to the wide-ranging role.

The Wall Street Journal reported that since joining Sears in 2007, Jooma has led all aspects of the company’s marketing, online, social, mobile and omnichannel operations. Previously he held leadership positions for Circuit City and OfficeMax.

Jooma was considered a trusted lieutenant to Sears’ chairman and chief executive Edward Lampert.
