Eurojersey Debuts New Sustainable, Performance Swim Fabrics for Summer ‘19

Performance, technology and style are the powerhouses behind Eurojersey’s new Sensitive Fabrics Summer ’19 swim fabrics collection.

Eurojersey, a leading manufacturer of Sensitive Fabrics, debuted the line, which features six swim fabric themes and functional components. The manufacturer created the new fabrics in response to evolving consumer needs—including the desire for versatile and transitional swimwear outfits.

Style wise, the collection culls inspiration from summer landscapes, including leaves, flower and palm tree prints. Elegant moods are combined with geometric graphic designs for a sporty apparel look, so consumers can easily move from the beach to other activities without changing their wardrobes.

A new color palette also leads the six swim fabric themes—After Glow, Sun Salute, Freakish, Namaste’, Rising Tide and Liquid Stream. After Glow, Namaste’, Liquid Stream and Rising Tide focus on marine-inspired hues and vintage warm-weather patterns, while Sun Salute and Freakish play up pastel tones and tropical colors.

For performance capabilities, Eurojersey incorporated Lycra’s Xtra Life fiber—an advanced fiber that withstands environmental and physiological changes. Each swim fabric is equipped with Xtra Life, enabling long-lasting fit and durable protection against body oil, heat, pool water and sunscreen. Because of the Xtra Life inclusion, fabrics are lightweight and allow for freedom of movement during physical activities.

Each piece is also produced and printed according to Sensitive Fabrics’ SensitiveEcoSystem program, which reduces the industry’s carbon footprint and fosters circularity for Sensitive Fabrics materials. The company’s supply chain sustainability and traceability efforts are also certified by various standards, including the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Environmental Certification, the ISO 14001 Certification, Oeko-Tex Certification and adherence to the EU Reach Regulation. Eurojersey is also the first warp-knitted textile company to achieve the Climate Certification, due to its minimal carbon dioxide use and sustainable sourcing practices.
