New York & Company Teams Up With Shopkick To Reward Customers

Women’s retailer New York & Company is working with Shopkick to offer its customers major perks.

New York & Company customers will have the opportunity to earn Shopkick rewards, or “Kicks,” for visiting, trying on and purchasing items at more than 170 of the retailer’s locations.

“New York & Company is helping to create the in-store experience of the future by utilizing digital marketing tools to make shopping more personal and rewarding. Consumers want to be rewarded for their everyday shopping behaviors, while retailers want to increase consumer loyalty and foot traffic to their stores,” said Shopkick’s CEO Bill Demas. “Shopkick’s large-scale user base, proprietary location technology and personalized app experience positions us as the mobile shopping platform of choice for top brands, retailers and consumers.”

At least two ShopBeacon devices will be placed in each participating New York & Company store. One will be located at the front door to reward customers for walking in and another will be placed in the fitting rooms to reward customers for trying on apparel.

New York & Company’s demographic consists of fashion-conscious females who are interested in receiving shopping rewards and information about promotions. Shopkick, with its app and retail technology, will provide New York & Company’s customers with engaging in-store experiences.

“We are constantly gathering feedback from our customers, and know that they are increasingly interacting with our brand via mobile and digital,” New York & Company CEO Greg Scott, said. “By partnering with Shopkick, we will drive incremental sales by bringing both new customers into our stores, as well as inspiring our existing loyal customer base to visit our locations more often.”

New York & Company will join other major retailers that use shopkick’s retail solutions, including American Eagle Outfitters, Macy’s and TJ Maxx.
