TagsysRFID Rebrands Itself as CXignited

TagsysRFID is transforming into an Internet of Things (IoT) business.

The New York-based retail intelligence company announced plans Tuesday to change its company name to CXignited to reflect the growth and transformation of RFID (radio-frequency identification) to IoT-based solutions that digitize the retail industry. In addition, the company will debut a new corporate identity and website.

As a solutions provider for luxury retail businesses, CXignited created a single cloud-based platform that brings together hardware, software and services utilizing RFID, beacons and IoT to deliver a real-time local positioning system (RLPS). CXignited’s RLPS will foster product digitalization, personalization, localization and authentication across all levels of the United Commerce.

“CXignited’s passion is to empower retailers and brands to light up product, people and brand passion,” CXignited chief executive officer Alain Fanet said. “Our transformation strategy is focused on leveraging a new Customer Experience (CX) and product storytelling with a Real-time Local Positioning System (RLPS) streaming shop floor and Unified Commerce information intelligence.”

With CXignited’s cutting-edge technology, retailers may now provide consumers with personal in-store experiences and fulfill their product demands.

“This is exactly the new kind of innovation for retailers and brands which leverages proven technology converging to provide an exciting and relevant shopping experience—a seamless merger of a fantastic physical experience with powerful, yet subtle technology delivering value to consumers and the brands/retailers alike,” said Paula Levy, a customer relationship management expert and Demand Worldwide consultant Paula Levy.

As the retail market continues to evolve, CXignited will be at the forefront of loT solutions and provide retailers with the armor they need to thrive in brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels.

“Retail industry analysts predict double digit growth in 2017 for RFID and IoT,” Fanet said. “We are the first to bring to market an extremely innovative solution that delivers item level intelligence and inventory availability and visibility, all in a single real-time view that increases sales and optimizes operations.”
