Tianhai Athleisure Solutions (TAS) is offering brands a new solution for pattern customization.
As a new division of popular Chinese lace manufacturer Tianhai Lace, TAS is debuting a Design-to-Garment platform, D2G, which features Creora Fresh spandex. The design-to-fit jacquard program is a body-mapping system that allows pattern repetitions to be incorporated into any garment’s shape or size.
D2G enables brands to customize exclusive patterns for apparel, such as finishing details on hem, waist and neckline areas. As a design-to-fit jacquard program, the platform facilitates personalized pattern repetitions for clothing, while also ensuring that each garment remains functional. D2G fosters cooperation between customer’s designers and technical staff, so apparel manufacturers can create garments that are suitable for consumers’ diverse lifestyles.
With Creora spandex, each body-mapped garment will have fewer seams and more high performance functions. Additional benefits of Creora spandex include breathability, comfort, moisture management, thermal and cooling regulation and odor neutralization.
“We see patterned knits as a niche to fill in a market dominated by more basic fabrics,” TAS division project manager Bob Wong said. “Our technology makes it possible to engineer a garment in ways that were previously not possible with engineered compression plus performance like with Creora Fresh odor-neutralizing spandex.”
D2G will be introduced at the upcoming Performance Days trade show in Munich on Nov. 16-17.
