Gartex Texprocess India’s Mumbai Debut Focuses on Advanced Apparel Manufacturing

The first Mumbai edition of Gartex Texprocess India, jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt India and MEX Exhibitions, aims to accelerate technological advances in the Indian textile and garment industry through a showcase of innovative and competitively priced products from more than 120 exhibitors.

Gartex Texprocess India is set for May 12-14 at the Jio World Convention Center at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. With the Denim Show, Fabric & Trims Show and Screen Print India organized under its umbrella, Gartex Texprocess India 2022 will feature innovations in textile and garment manufacturing machinery, denim, trimmings and screen-printing verticals.

A Denim Talks series will present digital manufacturing and bio-dyeing techniques, along with a flash-dyeing indigo display.

Brands including Baba Textile Machinery (India), Balaji Sewing Machine, Cotton Council International, EH Turel & Company, Felix Schoeller, Gayatritex Engineers, Golden Laser India, Mehala Machines India, Orange O Tec, Ramsons Garment Finishing Equipment, Sera Machines, Sky Enterprises, Sewco Garment Solutions and Zoje will demonstrate their manufacturing technologies. The exhibition will attract apparel brands, design studios, fashion designers and merchandisers, trade body representatives, distributors, garment and textile machinery importers, exporters and wholesalers, according to organizers.

Among the state-of-the-art machinery for textile and garment production on display will be Ramsons’ Go Green machine that executes wet processing of garments, the TS 1800 Digital Thread Dyeing System by Orange-O-Tec that dyes thread in millions of colors on demand, Mehala’s Procut 1800 from Bullmer automatic cutter for large quantities of apparel and the R6000 digital feeding smart lockstitch machine from Bruce.
