Informa Announces Magic Schedule for 2023

Informa Markets Fashion has announced the dates for its 2023 Magic fashion and lifestyle trade shows, taking place in New York, Las Vegas and Nashville. The wholesale events showcasing apparel, footwear and accessories bring together brands, retailers, buyers and suppliers from across the globe.

Magic Las Vegas, the group’s keystone event, will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center on Feb. 13-15, and again on Aug. 7-9. Calling it the “largest, most comprehensive marketplace” for men’s and women’s trend-forward and young-contemporary fashion, Informa said the event will feature educational seminars with industry experts, activations and celebrity appearances, including a musical performance to be announced late this year. Singer and footwear entrepreneur Katy Perry was the keynote speaker at Magic‘s August event.

Magic New York will return Feb. 21-23 and resume on Sept. 19-21. It will be adjacent to the Coterie womenswear trade show at the Jacob K. Javits Center and feature hundreds of global brands, private label options and next-season and immediate options for buying. “Magic New York is the shopping opportunity in the U.S.’ renowned fashion capital, where the East Coast market can explore the latest trends,” Informa said. The event’s lineup will include industry thought leaders, influencers and stylists.

And following a strong 2022 debut, Nashville will be back April 26-27 at the Music City Center. Informa expects to see double the attendance as the event unlocks access to the mid-South retail market.

The trade show will curate brands and products at accessible and moderate prices, including women’s athleisure, young contemporary and trend-forward apparel, footwear and accessories. Magic Nashville will feature established and emerging regional boutiques, big-box retail and e-commerce businesses. As result of growing demand for a Southern focus, events at the show will be inspired by Nashville culture and styling. Registration for all of the spring events is now open.

Informa launched its virtual platform at the Sourcing at Magic show while in-person events were suspended during the pandemic. Since returning to its in-person format in August 2021, it has offered a hybridized physical-digital experience for brands and buyers, allowing vendors to participate online and at the live events.
